But then I found this live mix from July in Monegros Festival in Spain on Red Bull Radio, and all was well with the world again. Although now I'm a little miffed I wasn't at that festival, it looks amazing; this gig was unreal I imagine:

Noir's latest recommendations: a load of sweet techno and deep house. Once you get past the voice whispering "Noooir recoooommeeeends" over it intermittently, it's a great collection. (When Tiga has to make noise over tracks he plays so they can't be ripped, he sings funny lyrics or says silly things, which is a lot less annoying. But there you go. And why, yes, I would just go and marry Tiga, if he'd only answer my emails.)

Talking Heads live in Rome, 1980

I've watched Stop Making Sense a lot. I had it on DVD and used to watch it after nights out. And then the good folk of Lighthouse Cinema showed it on a Saturday night and we danced in the aisles, one of the best things ever. If you haven't seen it, you need it in your life; check it out here. I'd never seen this concert though, Talking Heads live in Rome in 1980. It's a lot less stylized, but just as emotive and brilliant, particularly the performance of Born Under Punches.
