Bonobo's Essential Mix (April 2014)

Was very worried for some reason that Bonobo's Essential Mix wouldn't be great. I don't know why I thought this. I think I have deep-seated trust issues, stemming from that time I went to France to see Four Tet live and he played a bunch of jazz. Rest assured this set will not break your heart in such a manner. Quality tracks throughout, pretty chilled in the first half with gorgeous vibes all the way, particularly the last 30 mins. 3 days left to listen below and check out the extensive tracklist that I am far too lazy to copy over.

Bonobo live at Koko (2009)

Live show from 2009. They don't call him Dream Bonoboat for nuthin*. It gets a little jazzy at times which I usually amn't into but they reign it in (apart from the insane drum and sax solos at the end, but by then you don't care) and it's just gorgeous and chilled. Nice touch at the very end with the photo of the crowd too.

Bonobo live at Elysée Montmarte

Bonobo played a DJ set here recently that I missed out on, however after listening to this I think I'd like to hold out for the live show. I know I bandy the term 'dreamy' about a lot, but this really is gorgeous. I thought it might a get too jazzy for me but they reign it in and it sounds brilliant. Perfect for a rainy Monday after a weekend of considerable debauchery.
