Swooner pals may recall that The Revenge and Roar Groove have a series where they make a real life mix-tape and give it away. (My Tiny Choons co-hort and co-host Zonja won the first edition - the Valentine's love tape!) Well here is the Hallowe'en volume! The Revenge Love Story

The Revenge and Roar Groove have started a mix tape series together. Literally, they are going to be making one actual tape of each mix that they will give away. Which is pretty sweet although I'm not sure where I'd find a cassette player if I won. Anyway, lucky for us it also comes in modern mp3 form. This first mix in the series is in 2 parts, it's all funk and soul and love, just in time for Valentine's I guess. It's pretty dreamy with tunes from James Brown, Curtis Mayfield, Patrice Rushen, The Pointer Sisters, Frankie Beverly and Evelyn King among others and you can download it for free here. *
