3 Day Love Hangover : A Swooner Spotify Playlist

Amazing Dublin street art by Maser

I told my friend Fink if the marriage equality referendum passed I would make a playlist of serious love vibes. It passed with flying colours, the country went wild, and 3 days later I am sure there are still love hangovers all round. Hurrah! It took me a while but finally here is a collection (5 hours worth) of my favourite happy love tunes. Mostly funk and disco along with a few personal faves. (And a lot of Chromeo and Delegation tracks, naturally.) Despite being part robot, I was actually a bit emotional putting the list together, after such an amazing weekend and some serious memory evoking vibes in there. SO proud to be Irish, well done to everyone who was involved in the campaign and everyone who voted YES. Do not press shuffle. Do not pass go. One love. xxx

The Hare Café @ IMMA 19.07.14

The Hare Café is back - for one day only! Tomorrow, Saturday 19th July, at the Irish Museum Of Modern Art in Kilmainham, as part of the Summer Rising Festival, they will be serving their amazing food from a purpose built tiki hut in the garden, sit down meals and take away boxes so call in if you are about! Like the last time they popped up, they asked me to put together some music for them.

They are open 12 - 5pm tomorrow so I made a 5 hour, kind of happy, kind of summery playlist with some of my favourite tunes (and some that we played in our Tropical Tiny Choons show) that you can check out if you are on Spotify:

You can check out the previous playlists I made for them here and click here or go follow twitter.com/TheHareCafe for more info about the IMMA event. NOM!

The Hare Café: Spotify Playlists

The Hare Café is a pop-up vegetarian restaurant currently in Templebar Gallery, Dublin, as part of  'The Workers' Café' Exhibition. The Hare will run until November 2nd and Fiona asked me if I'd pick some music for one of the days. So I made a musical menu of Spotify playlists, each meal a different vibe. In the immortal words of Colin Farrell, "breakfast, lunch, and dinner" - and brunch! About 7 hours of tunes, hopefully a little something for everyone!

The Breakfast list has a bunch of happy, upbeat tunes to get your day started right!

Lunch is more of an 80s, disco and funk affair, as well it should be:

Dinner has slightly more bangin' beats:

Oh and there is also a Brunch playlist which is shorter but full of sweet R'n'B and a little hip-hop!

Keep up with The Hare Café on twitter (@TheHareCafe) and make sure to pop in before it finishes. Even if you're not vegetarian, the food looks insanely delicious. I'm going tomorrow!
