Limonadier Compilation

With the release of Tame Impala's most recent and amazing album 'Currents' I have become increasingly obsessed with lead singer Kevin Parker's voice. (Particularly love this one he sang with Canyons) Anyway, I came across Koi Child on my Kevin Parker Youtube travels - an Australian hip hop act - Parker will be producing their debut album due out soon. Their song 'Slow One' is amazing and it's available as a free DL along with 4 other deadly chilled, soulful tunes from Limonadier - a quality French music site. Really like the other hip hop tune as well by Amerigo Gazaway. Thanks Limonadier!

Not on Soundcloud this time but on the excellent hearthis.at - my friend Ivan told me about it and if you don't know it yet, it's really great - so much sweet stuff on there. You may have to register (only takes a sec) and or follow some of the artists / reshare the tunes to get some of the DLs. But you should follow them anyway because they are brilliant. SO it seems like Soundcloud are pissing a lot of people off by removing their tunes and mixes and not having deals in place to support deejays properly. Going to be interesting to see where the tide moves the tunes. This is a collection of some of my favourite free downloadable tracks on Soundcloud. Bit of a mixed bag, some old, some new, but mostly housey happy vibes. Includes the Faithful Players Chromeo x Haim mashup that I have posted before, and a great little disco edit from Dublin's own Fatty Fatty Phonographics. Laser Sex: Supremium E.P.

Any excuse for a Lazertits.com visit.

The theme for the second Tiny Choons radio show was 'space laser noises' so we had a load of fun picking out tunes for it. AND finding new music! Imagine my delight and surprise when I found a band that actually lives up to the awesome name of 'Laser Sex'* - an American duo (Mike Nasser and Jeff Felkowski from Scranton) making some very funky tunes. You can listen to their E.P. 'Supremium' below. Funky and spacey and amazing with deadly soundbites throughout. I played their (also awesomely named) track, 'Chocolate Sex Kittens' on the show (it has a deadly Kenny Powers quote at the end), but all the tracks are whopper!
