Breakbot and Irfane's Bedtime Stories mix

I came for the 'Coming To America' soundbite at the very beginning but I stayed for the disco and funk tunes. Breakbot and Irfane made this mix to celebrate having a whole bunch of followers on Facebook, and it's pretty damn dreamy, much like everything they do. "The idea behind this mix was to share some of the best tracks we've discovered in the past few months. as you can imagine, we weren't able to limit ourselves to new discoveries and ended up putting some old favorites into the stew."

Breakbot's RBMA Headphone Highlights show

My love for Breakbot graphically expressed as a sine function thanks to this site.

Musical french dreamboat Breakbot talks about some of the tunes that have influenced him and how he 'really likes slow jams' -  check out the sweet selection, tunes from Michael Jackson, Prince, Chic, Hall and Oates, with a couple of his own ace remixes thrown in at the end. Particularly interesting hearing that 'Baby Come Back' track by Player - you can really hear the similarities in Breakbot's work, as he admits. Swoon.

Breakbot's Electronic Beats Radio Session

Breakbot's mix for Electronic Beats Radio Sessions from a couple of weeks ago starts with 'Automatic' by the Pointer Sisters and goes from there with sweet, chilled, french infused disco, soul and beats. Lots of edits (pretty sure I hear a snippet of 'Midas Touch' by Midnight Star in there), and some impressive mixing. A few of his own tunes such as  'By Your Side' and 'One Out Of Two'- thrown in - SWOON!



How has this only 200 views?! It seems to finish at the 1 hour 5 minute mark but I can live with that. I saw him live recently in Rome, I'd highly recommend it if you ever have the opportunity.  Go get 'By Your Side' too, it's deadly.
