Vito from The Rapture's RBMA Fireside Chat show

Vito Roccoforte from The Rapture did a Fireside Chat radio show as part of Red Bull Music Academy's DFA Special. He talks about their roots in punk music and how the band was formed, organising their first tours without the the help of the internet and and meeting James Murphy and their transition into dance music. The first songs are quite punky and then it gets into more familiar territory. What a great band.

Breakbot's RBMA Headphone Highlights show

My love for Breakbot graphically expressed as a sine function thanks to this site.

Musical french dreamboat Breakbot talks about some of the tunes that have influenced him and how he 'really likes slow jams' -  check out the sweet selection, tunes from Michael Jackson, Prince, Chic, Hall and Oates, with a couple of his own ace remixes thrown in at the end. Particularly interesting hearing that 'Baby Come Back' track by Player - you can really hear the similarities in Breakbot's work, as he admits. Swoon.

Holy Ghost!'s RBMA Headphone Highlights show

I am all up in Holy Ghost!'s grill at the moment. (Well. Ever since Cosmic Kids remixed their tune 'Hold My Breath' - check it here if you don't know it already, it's amazing.) This is Holy Ghost!'s Red Bull Headphone Highlights - the New York pair talk us through some of the tunes that have influenced them and their sweet disco style. It includes a couple of their edits and some De La Soul and Sister Sledge. And they seem like lovely young fellas.
