Radiomade's Forbidden Fruit Afterparty This Friday

Radiomade (home to Tiny Choons) is putting on a great gig in The Tivoli after Forbidden Fruit on Friday night (29th May) - I Am The Cosmos are playing along with Diamond Dagger, Miss Kate and No Requests.

Jack from Radiomade told me he thought I'd like Diamond Dagger - boy was he right. It is right up Swooner Avenue - serious synthy vibes not to mention references to all my favourite 80s movies in the song titles.



I Am The Cosmos are amazing live, in all their spacey wonder, check out their album Monochrome below. They have a new album in the bag so hoping to hear some new vibes as well! Looking forward to checking out Miss Kate and No Requests too, haven't seen them before!

Tiny Choons mini-mix for Radiomade's Guinness World Record attempt

The Radiomade guys are making another attempt at a Guinness World Record* in aid of Movember at the moment. They started this morning at 9am and are going to have a marathon radio show til Sunday night! The lads are really entertaining and well up for the chats, and they've commissioned 63 sweet mini mixes so I'd highly recommend tuning in at www.radiomade.ie whenever you can over the weekend. And donate to Movember here of course! SUMMER VIBES

Quality 4 hour (4!) mix from Night Flight's Sol O'Carroll on Radiomade last week. Starts with lots of hip hop and chill tunes, then there's generally just a bunch of sweet and whopper housey tracks, including more than one Talking Heads tracks which is the way it should be. (Particularly love that 'Dazed' track by Ejeca, it's also in this mix I posted previously.) It certainly made my evening of packing up all my stupid belongings in order to move house a lot more enjoyable. And. Word on the street is that the next Swooner exclusive mix will be from the man himself. Watch this space.

Nightflight has a new show on Radiomade.ie on a Thursday from 6 - 8pm; this is the first episode with Lil Dave - check out that tracklist. Just spent an extremely enjoyable lazy hungover 2 hours listening to lots of great stuff. That Chris Malinchak track is musical elixir.
