More Mitzi: Tape 11

Savage artwork by 2veinte.com.ar

The latest tape from Mitzi is a short, happy, sweet mix of house and funk including that track 'Gee Up' by Kindness and a remix of Sunshine Anderson's 'Heard It All Before' among others. Although I'm not sure who the remix is by. Last track is whopper too. Tracklist to follow. Enjoy:

If you can't see the above box, click here.

Check out some previous Mitzi mixes I've posted here, all just as funky.
And have a happy new year.

More Moshigogo: Best of 2012 mix

Was hoping Moshigogo would do a winter mix, and here it is! A look back over 2012 and a lovely feel good buzz to it. Love the sound, all those 90s samples. Tunes from one of my favourites Perseus and Poolside, Lancelot, Finnebassen, Saint Etienne, Van She, Florence, Whitney and Sia:

If you can't see the above box, click here.

Moshigogo made a mix just using tunes that sampled 90s RnB. It's amazing, check it out here if you missed it before.

Also, if you haven't heard the Dazed Digital mix that Perseus made, listen here. It still gets a good ol' fashioned listening to on the regular in Swooner Towers.

2 Henrik Schwarz sets: Electronic Beats Radio & Boiler Room Berlin

Two for one day on sweet Henrik Schwarz sets at Swooner Tune Emporium, just in case you need your Friday evening beats sorted. First is a set he did for Electronic Beats on Flux fm a couple of weeks ago: such good tunes; house and deep house beats. Although you think they would've spelled his name right:

And second: I watched him live on Boiler Room Berlin last week and it was amazing, particularly as he didn't have any headphones on. Check it out below or here if you want to watch it. (I get too distracted by the audience members and have usually filled my daily cringe quota after about ten minutes.)

If you can't see the above box, click here.

Love that 'Once Again' track he did with Kuniyuki which features on both mixes.

Breakbot's Electronic Beats Radio Session

Breakbot's mix for Electronic Beats Radio Sessions from a couple of weeks ago starts with 'Automatic' by the Pointer Sisters and goes from there with sweet, chilled, french infused disco, soul and beats. Lots of edits (pretty sure I hear a snippet of 'Midas Touch' by Midnight Star in there), and some impressive mixing. A few of his own tunes such as  'By Your Side' and 'One Out Of Two'- thrown in - SWOON!

How has this only 200 views?! It seems to finish at the 1 hour 5 minute mark but I can live with that. I saw him live recently in Rome, I'd highly recommend it if you ever have the opportunity.  Go get 'By Your Side' too, it's deadly.

Solomun Zoologica Guest Mix November 2012

Can't get enough of Solomun and the Diynamic label. This set has tunes by Stars on 33, Kolombo, H.O.S.H and Solomun's remix of the Luca C / Brigante / Roisin Murphy tune Flash Of Light - always a sound for sore ears. It also has the Karmon remix of 'Where I Stand' by Single which is great, and a sweet Tribe Called Quest remix. Lots of lovely, boppy hip-hop beats and deep house, nothing too heavy. It's only Monday after all, simmer down.

If you can't see the above box, click here.

Check out a radio show by another of Diynamic's artists Adriatique here. And another by H.O.S.H here, both brilliant.
