Eduardo De La Calle's Moodymann mix

For something a little more low key and beat driven, here is a mix Eduardo De La Calle made with a load of Moodymann tunes on it. Quality stuff, if you like Moodymann that is. Some sweet early 2000 buzz in the middle, particularly as it also features "Rose Rouge" by Saint-Germain which gave me some good ol' fashioned flash backs.

In case you missed it, Flight Facilities were Triple J's Saturday night mix residents for October so they've made 4 mixes, each one covering a different decade. (This third one is 1992 - 2002). They have gone to amazing lengths for each mix, each set is chronological in order with classic tunes and modern edits, and cut with news reports of the time so it's like an awesome musical history lesson. They have been putting them together since April, and you can check out the insane amount of research they did here.

Tits & Clits Pleasure Zone Mix Episode 11

Any mix that opens with Miss Kittin and The Hacker's 'Frank Sinatra' tune is alright with me. A high energy selection of whopper house tunes and some disco, some heavier beats. I was very happy when I stumbled upon these amazingly named Hungarian guys. When the mix has 3000 listens they will give it as a free download. And I want to download it, so get listening! Am hoping for a tracklist in the future too, there are some distinctly Mr.Oizo style banging tracks on there as well as a sweet tune about taking a disco nap that I want to get my hands on!

I came across these guys as they did a sweet remix of Aufgang's 'Dulceria' track and I am a big Aufgang fan. Check out the remix here:

Mano Le Tough - Changing Days

I bought Mano Le Tough's new album 'Changing Days' last week and it's been on steady rotation since. I'm not one for wordy reviews, (if you want to read an excellent review of it check out Nialler 9's) but all I'll say is you should have this album in your life, and if you like John Talabot's 'fin' album, you will fucking love this. 'Please' is currently my favourite tune on it, but that changes daily:

Breakbot's RBMA Headphone Highlights show

My love for Breakbot graphically expressed as a sine function thanks to this site.

Musical french dreamboat Breakbot talks about some of the tunes that have influenced him and how he 'really likes slow jams' -  check out the sweet selection, tunes from Michael Jackson, Prince, Chic, Hall and Oates, with a couple of his own ace remixes thrown in at the end. Particularly interesting hearing that 'Baby Come Back' track by Player - you can really hear the similarities in Breakbot's work, as he admits. Swoon.

Swooner Exclusive Mix no.3: Big Dish Go's 'I Dream Of Feeney' Mix

So - it's here! Swooner's third exclusive mix - thanks to Conor and Gav Feeney at Big Dish Go. An amazing, very slick selection of tracks - that as Gav says, is 'probably the truest reflection of what we are about musically that we have ever managed to get down in a mix.' I have to agree. It's whopper beats without ever getting too filthy, banging without ever getting dark - which is how I see Big Dish Go and the music they produce and promote. In fact, there's a lovely feel to the whole mix, despite it being in major fist pump territory for the most part. Thank you guys!
